We help you shape successful projects from the ground up. We specialise in planning, feasibility and approvals strategies that de-risk development and pave the way for confident investment and timely delivery.
Disaster recovery
We deliver practical, community-focused disaster recovery that translates emergency funding into resilient infrastructure. We operate as an agile, standalone unit to enable rapid post-crisis transition, as funding is announced and delivery needs to commence.
ATI’s services include program mobilisation, funding and approvals strategy, interagency coordination, milestone tracking, and sequencing of interdependent works. We also provide advice on how planning legislation, delegated powers and emergency provisions can be leveraged to accelerate delivery.
Previously we led the planning and delivery of 36 disaster recovery projects under the $150 million NEMA-funded Northern Rivers Recovery and Resilience Program (NRRRP). This included pump station upgrades, levee works, stormwater improvements, evacuation route protection, nature-based solutions, and house relocations. Our work spanned seven LGAs and required close coordination with councils, utilities, and all three levels of government.
Today, we’re mentoring regional council teams to strengthen internal delivery capability, helping to build long-term local resilience. Whether you need to stand up a recovery program or bring stalled works to life, ATI provides the structure, relationships, and experience to deliver.
Affordable and social housing strategy
ATI delivers practical, delivery-focused housing strategy that connects policy intent with real-world outcomes. We work with community housing providers and local governments to turn housing needs into feasible, fundable, and buildable capital programs, particularly in regional, flood-affected and high-needs environments.
Our approach integrates strategic planning, capital works phasing, and construction logic to ensure housing projects are not only policy-aligned, but ready for grant submission and delivery. We specialise in identifying and securing funding from key State and Federal programs, including Housing Australia (HA), Homes NSW, the Regional Housing Fund (RHF), and the Social and Affordable Housing Fund (SAHF).
We know what it takes to get housing projects off the page, aligning briefs with program objectives, sequencing procurement to meet funding timelines, and engaging stakeholders early to ensure support and service integration. Our work spans crisis accommodation, transitional housing, essential worker dwellings, and community-integrated housing precincts.
Regional business continuity planning
We support organisations and communities to plan for disruption and recover with confidence, separating the immediate demands of disaster recovery delivery from the long-term thinking required for effective business continuity planning.
Our disaster recovery services focus on coordinating and delivering recovery programs that restore infrastructure, rebuild trust, and support long-term resilience. We understand the complexity of post-disaster environments, including the funding frameworks, community trauma, and political pressures that come with them. Our role is to bring structure, momentum, and accountability to recovery delivery — helping clients manage urgency without losing sight of long-term value.
Separately, our business continuity planning services help organisations prepare for future disruption before it strikes. We work with public and private sector clients to identify risks, protect critical functions, and embed flexible systems that can withstand shocks — from natural disasters to political, economic, or technological change.
Whether you’re responding to a flood, planning for bushfire season, or building organisational resilience, we help you think clearly under pressure, act with purpose, and rebuild stronger than before.
